Purchasing Firearms Online: A Legal Overview
When purchasing firearms online:
It's your responsibility know local state and federal regulations. Certain states require certain restrictions pretaining to firearm or ammunition purchasing. By law, all firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. Direct shipment to your home address is not permitted. Once you've ordered a firearm and it's arrived at the FFL of your choice, you must fill out a 4473 (Firearm Transaction Record).
Online Firearm Purchases:
The FFL dealers typically charge a fee, ranging from $25 to $55, to facilitate a transfered for a serilized item.
FFL Transfers:
We accept transfers from other dealers for a transfer fee of $40 per serialized non-NFA items, $100 per serial number for NFA Silencer transfers, and $150 per serial number for NFA Short Barrel Rifle Transfers.
If you are looking to have a firearm transferred to our location for pick up, please have the shipping FFL Dealer send an email to Sales@OKGunWorks.com with the following info:
- Customer name
- Items being shipped
- Valid and current FFL Certificate
We will reply to their email with a copy of our FFL certificate that they will need to complete the shipment.
When your item arrives, we will contact you to let you know that it is ready for pick up.
